King Calls Iraqi
President condoling him over the Bridge's tragedy
Amman/Aug.31(Petra)-- His Majesty King Abdullah II on Wednesday made a telephone
call with Iraqi President Jalal Taliban expressing his sincere and deep grief
over the bridge's victims that occurred today killing scores of Iraqi citizens.
The King affirmed Jordan's stand by Iraqi people to surmount the great tragedy,
expressing Jordan's readiness to receive any causalities in Jordanian hospitals
and send medicines and the necessary medical equipments to the Iraqi hospitals.
For his part, Iraqi President expressed his thanks and appreciations for His
Majesty's efforts for this initiatives, which reflects the stronger relations
the brotherly countries enjoy.
