Conference on forensic sciences to convene int’l
specialist starting Tuesday
AMMAN (Petra) — The first Jordanian International Conference on Forensic Sciences and Medicine
will be held in Amman on Tuesday with the participation of 300 specialists from 52 Arab and
foreign countries. President of the Jordanian Society of Forensic Medicine Mumen Hadidi said
in a press conference the conference would be held under the banner of fighting all forms of
violence whether directed against children, women or groups. The conference coincides with the
convening of the second Islamic Countries Forensic Medicine Congress and the second of Arab
Forensic Pathologists and Physicians Union. “Justice through Medicine and Technology for the
Individual, Family, and Society” is the theme adopted by the three conferences to achieve the
main objective of advancing criminological sciences and forensic medicine in the Arab and Islamic
worlds, to achieve justice in society, defend human rights and to protect families.
