Land and real estate
sales surge by 46%
AMMAN (Petra) — The total volume of land and real estate sales in the Kingdom
rose by 46 per cent during the first eight months of this year, compared to the
same period last year. The total amount of transactions stood at 607,489. The
Amman Governorate ranked first in terms of land and real estate sales, according
to the latest Lands and Survey Department bulletin. The total number of
transactions conducted in Amman stood at 36,800. In the Kingdom's 11 other
governorates a total of 54,965 transactions were completed during the same
period.
