Muasher leaves for New York
AMMAN (Petra) — Minister of Foreign Affairs Marwan Muasher left on Sunday for
New York to attend the 59th UN General Assembly session, which starts on
Tuesday. Muasher is slated to deliver an address to the world body on Sept. 27,
reaffirming the Kingdom's stand on Middle East issues, mainly Iraq and
Palestine. Muasher is also expected to visit Washington for talks with US
Secretary of State Colin Powell and the US National Security Adviser Condoleezza
Rice.
