Higher Council for Science and Technology (HCST) and Illinois University sign agreement
AMMAN (Petra) — The Higher Council for Science and Technology (HCST) on Wednesday signed an agreement with the US University of Illinois. The agreement seeks to enhance cooperation on scientific research between the two institutions and the transfer of nanomaterials to the Kingdom for industrial and pharmaceutical purposes. HCST Secretary General Khalid Shraydeh and Earl Kellogg, the associate provost for international affairs at the university, signed the agreement. Shraydeh received samples of silicon nanoparticles to be examined by researchers at local universities and industrial, pharmaceutical and scientific centres.
