Judeh stresses government
commitment to fighting corruption and corrupts
Amman, Sep. 27(Petra) -- Government Spokesperson Nasser Judeh renewed the
government's commitment to fighting corruption and corrupts, noting this issue
is one of the government's priorities and is in line with the Royal Letter of
Designation.
Judeh's remarks came during his weekly press briefing with media
representatives, which was held on Wednesday at the Prime Ministry.
The Spokesperson added that the government is seriously committed to fighting
corruption, corrupts and nepotism in accordance with the laws and regulations,
pointing to the Anti- Corruption Law, which was approved during the
extraordinary session.
'' The government is 'continuing' its program to stamp out corruption and
corrupts strictly and without hesitation,'' Judeh noted, highlighting King
Abdullah's directives in the regard.
On prices of commodities during Ramadan month, The Spokesperson said the
concerned government's departments will not tolerate those who tamper with
prices.
