Youth forum to promote
dialogue on development process
AMMAN (JT) — A total of 100 young Jordanians will gather today at a youth forum
aimed at involving the younger generation in the development process by
encouraging dialogue on a variety of issues. The forum, which will take place at
Al Hussein Cultural Centre, seeks to enhance young people with their community
and acquaint them with their civil and legal rights, National Forum for Youth
and Culture (NFYC) Secretary Emad Fuqaha told The Jordan Times yesterday.
Participants aged between 18-32 will debate issues such as peace, justice,
reform and human rights, among other related issues, Fuqaha said. The NFYC is
organising the event in cooperation with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
