King phones Arab leaders
AMMAN (Petra) — His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday telephoned Sultan Qaboos Ben Saeed of Oman, Syrian President Bashar Assad and Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh to discuss bilateral ties and regional and international issues of common concern.The King's calls also addressed the means to attain a unified stand vis-a-vis regional and international issues.
The contacts come within the framework of the Monarch's efforts to coordinate points of view on the current regional situation with Arab leaders.
