Today marks the beginning of the Holy Month of Ramadan, according to a statement issued Monday by Islamic Chief Justice Izzeddine Khatib Tamimi. The beginning of Ramadan depends on the sighting of the crescent of the new lunar month. During the month, Muslims fast from dawn to dusk. |
