King Abdullah to Meet Blair
LONDON (Petra) — His Majesty King Abdullah is expected to hold talks today with British Prime Minister Tony Blair on Middle East issues and bilateral cooperation. King Abdullah and Her Majesty Queen Rania arrived here yesterday on a several-day trip that will also take them Thursday to Berlin. The King is expected to meet German President Horst Kohler and Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer. The Monarch, the Queen and Kohler are to inaugurate Faces of the Orient exhibition, documenting Jordan's art history and culture in 10,000 years.
General Saad Kheir, the King's adviser on security issues, director of the General Intelligence Department and president of the National Security Council, Royal Court Minister Samir Rifai and Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Bassem Awadallah accompanied the King.
