'No Jordanian students in Pakistan injured'

Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Khalid Touqan yesterday said that no Jordanian students in Pakistan had been injured as a result of the earthquake which struck Pakistan early Saturday morning. Touqan telephoned the cultural adviser in Pakistan, Yousef Hmeid, to inquire about the students. News reports said a powerful earthquake measuring 7.6 on the Richter scale near the Pakistan-India border killed hundreds of people in both nations.
