Seminar on US elections held at Al al Bait University
AMMAN (Petra) — Al al Bait University, in cooperation with the American embassy in Amman, held a seminar on the US elections yesterday. Press and Cultural Affairs Counselor at the embassy Haynes Mahoney said whoever was elected as president would face the same foreign policy challenges of the Arab-Israeli conflict, the situation in Iraq and political and economic reforms in the Middle East. He added that terrorism was a global phenomenon that affected most countries, pointing to the recent plot that targeted the Kingdom but was thwarted about six months ago.
