US remains Jordan's leading trading partner
AMMAN (Petra) — The US remains Jordan's leading trading partner by buying JD449 million worth of products or 29.7 per cent the Kingdom's exports during the first eight months of this year compared to JD286 million or 27.6 per cent in the same period of 2003, according to a monthly statistical bulletin released on Sunday by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Iraq came second buying products worth JD253.9 million and India was third at JD102.3 million. Israel ranked sixth buying JD48.3 million worth of Jordanian goods.
