A fund created by the University of Jordan (UJ) at the beginning of the 2004 academic year has provided grants and soft loans totalling over JD100,000 to 900 needy students, according to head of the students affairs department. He said the department helped 320 other needy students to get jobs on campus. The beneficiaries are undergraduate students who do not receive assistance from any other source.
