Mouasher: 57 Dead and over 115 wounded in Amman Terrorist Operations
Amman/ Nov. 9/ (Petra)-- The Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Marwan Mouasher has announced that the number of victims in the terrorist bombings that occurred this evening had reached 57 dead and over 115 wounded. He elaborated in a press conference held earlier this evening that the explosions resulted from suicide bombings and affirmed that these terrorist acts targeted the security and stability of Jordanians. He denied reports that the government received warnings and indicated that the majority of victims and wounded are Jordanian. He added that no group has taken responsibility for these terrorist acts. He further indicated that Jordanian Land borders have been locked down as a security measure to apprehend those responsible.
