AmCham-Jordan promoting trade
& investment with Virginia
The American Chamber of Commerce in Jordan (AmCham-Jordan), in cooperation with
Virginia Economic Development Partnership recently hosted a trade delegation
from Virginia, US, represented by several American manufacturing companies.
The delegation’s visit was to explore the Jordanian market’s potential for their
products and to meet with prospective Jordanian distributors, agents or
direct-sales partners. Five US companies, producers of fiber-optic cables,
vehicle inspection systems, liquid chemical recovery, recycling equipment and
acrylic impregnated wood floors, held successful one-on-one meetings with
Jordanian business leaders, the majority of whom were AmCham-Jordan members.
The event was part of AmCham-Jordan’s efforts to provide a platform for
facilitating trade with and investment from the US, and promote attractive
opportunities for business-to-business linkages, partnerships, and cooperation
initiatives for the benefit of member companies as well as businesses at large.
