Jordanian field hospital treats 377,000 Iraqi citizens
AMMAN (Petra) — The Jordanian field hospital near the embattled Iraqi town of Fallujah has been providing vital around-the-clock medical services to the local citizens since its establishment 19 months ago, according to the hospital's Director, Colonel Salameh Halalmeh.
He said more than 377,000 Iraqi citizens have benefited from the hospital's services, which included 1,300 surgical operations. The hospital currently deals with 800 to 1,000 cases on a daily basis and has been providing medical services to citizens arriving from Baghdad and other Iraqi towns.
