Seminar examines Arab role in promoting trade between
Jordan and the US
A seminar on the role that the Arab community in the US can play to promote
trade between Jordan and the US was held here on Monday.
The seminar, organized by Jordan Trade Association (JTA), aims to acquaint
Jordanian traders and exporters with American-related experiences that would
enable them to enter the US market. The trade exchange between Jordan and the US
amounted to $1.25 billion at the end of September with the Kingdom's exports to
the US totaling $738 million, according to JTA President Hilmi Abu Rahmeh.
