King to meet with
President Bush today
His Majesty King Abdullah II arrived on Sunday to the US after a short visit to
Libya where he met with Libyan President Muammar Ghadafi.
The King started on Sunday a four nation tour that will include Japan and
Singapore after his visit to the US.The tour comes within the active move and
intensive efforts led by His Majesty to revive the peace process and put it back
on its proper track, and support efforts that aim at restoring security and
stability to Iraq.
King Abdullah is expected to meet with US President George Bush on Monday
morning to discuss the peace process and the situation in iraq in addition to
political developments in the Middle East and other key bilateral matters.
His Majesty will also meet in Washington with a number of US administration
officials and will deliver a speech at the World Affairs Council of North
California and the Commonwealth Club of San Francisco.
