PM Meets Iraqi Minister
Amman/Dec.12(Petra) -- Prime Minister Marouf Bakhit underlined that Jordan eyes
with concern the up coming parliamentary election that will contribute to
enhance the current political process in Iraq and support its security and
stability. Bakhit made his remarks during a meeting with Iraqi Minister of
Electricity Mohsen Shlash. Bakhit reiterated Jordan's keenness on the security
and stability of Iraq as well as its unity and sovereignty, expressing
confidence in the Iraqi people to surmount the challenges they face.
For his part Shlash conveyed a message from the Iraqi Prime Minister Ibrahim Al
Jaaferi to Bakhit concerning bilateral cooperation. The two sides reviewed
bilateral relations and means of cementing them in various domains, particularly
the electric link project.
