AMMAN (Petra) — Iraqi agriculture ministry employees started a training course on Sunday on strategic planning and agricultural policy formation in Iraq. The training course is implemented by the Regional Centre on Agrarian Reform and Rural Development for the Near East. The centre’s director general said the workshop is a fundamental step in the reconstruction of the Iraqi agricultural sector. The centre was established to address the needs, rights and aspirations of the rural populations of the Near East.
