Jordan Signs Soft Loan
Agreement With Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED)
Amman, Dec. 21 (Petra) -- Minister of Planning and International Cooperation
Suhair Al Ali on Wednesday signed, on behalf of the Jordanian government, a KD15
Millions soft loan agreement with Director of the Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic
Development KFAED, to fund the governmental hospital project in Aqaba. Al Ali
said that signing this agreement comes within the frame of the fund's support
for efforts exerted by the Jordanian government to enhance its developmental
march. Minister of Planning noted that funding this project comes as a result of
the distinguished relations between Jordan and Kuwait under the leadership of
His Majesty King Abdullah II and Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Jabber al Ahmad Al Sabah.
For his part, Director of the KFAED hailed the efforts exerted by the government
to achieve the sustainable economic and social development, affirming the fund's
readiness to fund the developmental projects in Jordan.
