King Calls on Israel to Assist the Palestinian Leadership
 

His Majesty King Abdullah II called on Israel to support the Palestinian leadership's efforts which aim at holding elections in a suitable climate. Upon his Majesty's meeting with Israeli Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ehud Olmert on Thursday, King Abdullah stressed that the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza should be part of the roadmap peace plan and a prelude for a full Israeli pullout from the Palestinian territories. The meeting was attended by Minister of the Royal Court Samir Rifai, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Basem Awadallah and Minister of Trade and Industry Ahmad Hindawi.
