Mr. Karim Kawar Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the United States of America and the Republic of Mexico Karim Kawar has been the Jordanian Ambassador to the United States since 2002. Previously, he was appointed to the Economic Consultative Council by HM King Abdullah. He was Chairman of the Information Technology Association of Jordan and a founding member of several business associations and NGOs, including the AmCham and the Jordan Intellectual Property Association. He was selected by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader. He is an Eisenhower Fellow. He is a member of the Young Presidents' Organization and served as Vice-Chair of the Jordan River Foundation. He holds a BSc in Management from Boston College.
