artist. “It is difficult to express in words what I experienced for the first
time in Petra. I was so visually impacted by its immense stone carvings. I was
taken by the mysterious antiquity and historic significance” Vidales said.

of Fine Arts of the University of Costa Rica. For over 20 years, Marité has
exhibited her works throughout America, Costa Rica and Germany . Her work
reflects a passion for symbols and colors.
Hosting this event is timely, since Petra is nominated in a global voting
competition, of the “New Seven Wonders of the World.”
