U.S. - Jordan Free Trade Agreement
On October 24th2000, the United States and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan signed the U.S.- Jordan Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and the agreement entered into force on December 17, 2001. The pact includes precedent-setting provisions aimed at protecting worker's rights and the environment. His Majesty has been instrumental in paving the ground for reaching the Agreement.
