Shdeifat holds
talks with US ambassador
Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Omar Shdeifat on Wednesday
met with US Ambassador in Amman David Hale and discussed enhancing cooperation
in the field of energy and scientific research. During the meeting, the two
sides stressed the importance of exchanging expertise in the field of e-learning
and student exchange programmes. Shdeifat said there were plans to create a
centre specialised in testing non-native speakers on their Arabic language
skills. He also voiced appreciation for US support of the centre.
