FM urges Lebanese powers to accept Arab plan

CAIRO, January 28 (Petra) - Foreign Minister Salah Bashir on Sunday urged the Lebanese parties to accept the Arab plan on political Lebanon crisis, saying the proposed solution would serve as a basis for a way out of the situation that threatens the country's stability.

In statements to the press following the Arab Foreign Ministers extraordinary meeting held at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo yesterday, Bashir said that Arab efforts will continue to help Lebanon “find its way out of the political crisis” there.

Bashir also met with the Lebanese acting Foreign and Migrants Minister Tareq Mitri and discussed with the situation in Lebanon.
