FM urges Lebanese powers
to accept Arab plan
CAIRO, January 28 (Petra) - Foreign Minister Salah Bashir on Sunday urged the
Lebanese parties to accept the Arab plan on political Lebanon crisis, saying the
proposed solution would serve as a basis for a way out of the situation that
threatens the country's stability.
In statements to the press following the Arab Foreign Ministers extraordinary
meeting held at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo yesterday, Bashir said
that Arab efforts will continue to help Lebanon “find its way out of the
political crisis” there.
Bashir also met with the Lebanese acting Foreign and Migrants Minister Tareq
Mitri and discussed with the situation in Lebanon.
