Dahabi meets Palestinian prime minister
Amman, Oct.8 (Petra)—Prime Minister Nader Dahabi
stressed Jordan's support to the Palestinian brethren until the establishment of
their independent state on the Palestinian national soil.
During a meeting Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad, Dahabi highlighted the
importance of continuing negotiations between the Palestinians and Israelis,
leading to a permanent solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
He also stressed the need to unify Palestinian ranks to support the Palestinian
negotiating position.
The Palestinian prime minister for his part valued Jordan's support to the
Palestinians and their just cause, and stressed the importance of the
international community's support to the peace process between the Palestinians
and Israelis to enable the Palestinians to regain their legitimate rights.
Dahabi also reviewed with his Palestinian counterpart bilateral ties and ways of
boosting them in various fields.
