Labour Ministry
discusses its strategic plan
Amman, May 13 (Petra) –The Ministry of Labour Wednesday organized a workshop,
during which it discussed the strategic plan of the ministry and its
institutions for the years 2009-2011.
The one-day workshop also tackled issues related to the quality of training
programs and the developing institutional capacities project funded by the
European Union in coordination with the Ministry of Planning and International
Cooperation.
The developing project was launched in November of 2007 with the aim of
preparing the organizational structure of the Ministry, drawing up future plans
and policies, defining the ministry's needs of human resources and training its
staff on the concepts of modern management in accordance with the European model
in quality management.
