Jordan sends more aid to Gaza
A new aid convoy crossed the King Hussein Bridge
en route to the Gaza Strip to help alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian
people.
The 10-truck convoy, sent by the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO)
upon the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II, carries 80 tones of various
relief items and will be distributed by UNRWA.
The aid, donated by the JHCO and a number of Jordanian organizations, was
dispatched in coordination with the Armed Forces' Crisis Management Center, the
Foreign Ministry as well as the Palestinian National Authority.
So far, Jordan has sent 311 aid convoys to the coastal enclave to help
Palestinians overcome the humanitarian catastrophe caused by the Israeli
aggression.
