Sharif gives overview of Jordan’s stand on various issues

Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications Nabil Sharif on Sunday said Jordan endeavours to achieve a just and comprehensive solution to regional issues, particularly the Palestinian-Israeli problem, through the establishment of an independent state for the Palestinians on their national soil. The minister highlighted His Majesty King Abdullah’s efforts to relaunch serious peace negotiations based on the two-state solution during a meeting with a delegation of US journalism students. Sharif briefed them on the Kingdom’s stance vis-à-vis regional developments and Jordan’s achievements in various fields during the ten years since King Abdullah’s Accession to the Throne.
