Majali holds talks with Iraqi parliamentary delegation

Lower House Speaker Abdul Hadi Majali said Sunday that Jordan is keen on Iraq's unity and Arab character and to bringing security and stability to the region. During a meeting with an Iraqi delegation representing Moqtada Sadr's bloc in the Iraqi lower house of parliament, Majali added that His Majesty King Abdullah is exerting every effort to help Iraq rebuild its national institutions and establish unity among the various factions and sects in the country. Majali also highlighted Jordanian-Iraqi relations and means to develop bilateral parliamentary ties, stressing the Lower House’s keenness to cooperate with its Iraqi counterpart. Iraqi delegates stressed their country's eagerness to bolster bilateral relations in various fields.
