Jordan warns against deteriorating education in Palestinian territories
CAIRO (Petra) - Jordan on Sunday warned against the fallout of the deterioration of the education sector in the occupied territories, especially in the Gaza Strip and the city of Jerusalem, as a result of Israeli violations. Delivering Jordan’s address during the joint meeting of UNRWA’s education officials, which was held at the headquarters of the Arab League, Mahout Aqrabawi, Jordan’s representative from the Department of Palestinian Affairs, stressed that UNRWA must continue its assistance for Palestinian refugees and overcome financial difficulties to meet its goals. Aqrabawi said the Jordanian government will work to ensure that refugees receive the best services, stressing its support for UNRWA.
