Gaza field hospital
treats over 190,000 Palestinians
Medical staff at Jordan's field hospital in the Gaza Strip offered medical
treatment to more than 190,000 Gazans since its deployment in January 2009,
according to the hospital’s director, Yasser Abu Ghazeh. The hospital, dubbed
“Gaza 6”, has performed more than 5,563 operations, including 2,341 major
surgeries, the director said, adding that Jordanian medics will continue to
provide medical services to Palestinians in the besieged enclave.
