His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan will address a Joint Meeting of Congress on Wednesday, March 7th, 2007 during his upcoming visit to Washington, DC. King Abdullah is the first world leader to address such a meeting under the new Democratic-led Congress.

King Abdullah's speech will focus primarily on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the need to move forward in the peace process. The speech will also address the crisis in neighboring Iraq and ways to restore security and stability there.
